Aye, we’ve delivered the parcels. Sorry it took my lasses so long. They were new to inter-dimensional travel. Plus, I broke my ship log, and only just got a new one today. And of course, I’m a woman of my word. Here before the 10th. And, because of the delay, I give you 232 nougats of gold. Hope to see you pick this fine ship once more!

As we docked in the city, the first thing that happened was a scrawny kid, maybe 9, ran into our ship full speed, and hide behind a barrel. Calliope tried to catch her, but she’s taller than petite Calliope, and ran below decks. As Rose tried to chase, I stopped her. I also was once a scrawny runaway of a child, and I didn’t want to spook her. “Callie, Calliope, go get some food with Rose. I’ll talk to her.” I said. The girl didn’t notice me come downstairs, seeing as she was turned away from the door. I was about to say something, but then I saw what she was holding. She had a ship’s wheel, and a scruffy stuffed bunny toy. She pretended the dirty box she was sitting in was a ship, and her bunny was her first mate. My heart went out to her, and I knew what I had to do. When the crew came back, I introduced them to our newest crew mate, and my adopted daughter, Zarna Downton.

In the hospital, I noticed a girl, maybe a year younger than me. She was asking around for a ship to be apart of, and I knew this was my chance. I asked her name. “Rose shimmershine.” She said with a twinkle in her eye. “I need a ship to be apart of.” “Good, because I need a crew member.” I said. “Really!” She exclaimed. “Yep, good to have you abord!” I said. “Let me show you to the rest of the crew.”

As we flew to the city of Zanokania, to meet our newest client, Callie had one of her seizures. As Calliope gasps, I sighed. I knew we had to go to the nearest city. I couldn’t lose Callie. Not no, not ever. She has been my best friend since we were 5. And since I was given this ship, she’s been by my side. It will put our progress down by 18 hours, but she needs help. As I turn my ship to my side I look at the big city ahead, I wonder who lies there, and what there life is like....

Our newest client wants a résumé, so hear it is.
