Dear Captain,

I am leaving this note pinned to the hatch of the Non Sum Qualis Eram in hopes that you and your crew will discover it upon returning from lunch. I find the canteen at this particular aerodrome to be exceptional, as you no doubt discovered if you ordered their speciality -- grilled cheese and tomato soup! Even if you are not a tomato soup fan I believe you will find it utterly irresistible.

I frequently come to this particular aerodrome to judge the measure of the various ships and their crews passing through, and you and your ship in particular have caught my attention as being perfectly suited for a job I have at hand.

If you visit the storage facility here at the aerodrome and mention to the clerk "Asphodel sent me," the clerk will slip behind the desk and reemerge with a small manila envelope, likely giving off an angry buzz. BY NO MEANS OPEN THIS ENVELOPE, but if you can deliver it to the specially reinforced maximum security insectorium at Delby Point, North Hesshire, Ubiquity, you will there receive standard hazard pay for the transport of deadly endangered transdimensional invasive species, which you KNOW is humungous.

If this offer is not to your liking, I will completely understand, and you can dispose of this note with the usual Security Protocol 6, so as to avoid any lesser ships and crews intercepting it and getting in quite over their heads.

Hi, I'm Nej. Apparently @Kalli told the captain that I looked like a lost soul when the two of them were flying over my cottage in the swiss alps. Now the captain simply couldn't allow for that, so I was promptly hired. I'm pretty sure that @Kalli just wanted a slightly less energetic companion and didn't actually think I looked like a lost soul.

I've been looking for a steady job for a few weeks, but this was the only place I could find that would hire someone with no credentials. I was searching the library bulletin board as usual when I discovered a tiny flyer for the Non Sum Qualis Eram ship, run by Captain Haraway. I was desperate, so now here I am, ready to join the ship.
A person wearing a pirate hat and a dress comes bounding towards me and shakes my hand vigorously.
"Hello, fellow crew member! My name is Captain Haraway, and I am your Captain. You are the only other crew, so you are now my First Mate. what is your name, esteemed First Mate?"
"Um... My name is Kalli. Is this..."
"This is the Non Sum Qualis Eram! Welcome aboard!"
They run back towards the ship, beckoning me along.
Well, I guess I'm a First Mate now. Wish me luck.

I have a very important announcement! Non Sum Qualis Eram is taking its first job! We are officially taking the job posted by Ariel's Groundmeat Specialties, and will arrive at Ariel's Groundmeets HQ by tomorrow to pick up the delivery of Groundmeat jerkies, biltongs, carne seca, and droges. We should be finished with the delivery in our usual time frame of three days or less.
